You don't deal with the Nets for their 2017 pick because Boston has option of swapping. You deal with the Celtics.

Any Hayward/Boston talk should begin with #3/Next year's right to swap w/ Nets/ Crowder/ Olynyk/#16 and go down from there.

Favors may well be the best trade chip combining proven production and a great contract with at least two years control. He doesn't get you the #1 pick by himself, but he sure as hell is a great conversation starter.
