Well, that was well worth it for Toronto.

If we end up in that position we dont lose our pick for sure. There is still a draft lottery and teams jump up frequently, in fact more teams have jumped to #1 from pretty much every position than worst place. There are also ways to improve the team outside of getting extremely lucky in the draft.

This ref is loving the attention too much. Refs aren't there to wow the crowd. They should be unnoticed.
