i've watched duke probably more than any team other than rutgers and i'm nearly always unimpressed with maluach. already today in the first 4 minutes, he's been beat badly three times by GT's very much average big man. if defense is really all you do, you have to be better than that.

unfortunately jabari is looking like a fairly realistic mid-outcome.

if you draft him, that's the sell. no question.

i guess i'm not convinced he's a legit shooter. which is a 180 from what i would have said 2 or 3 months ago. i mean, he can shoot, but can he really shoot. he reminds me a lot of Key, tbh, a 6'9" version. Key can shoot. sometimes. most of the time not all that accurately.

I've been disappointed in Ace Bailey lately. not sure what the issue is, but he's been pretty bad for about at least a month - maybe more. he hasn't been as bad or as invisible as Cody Williams down the stretch last year, but his play reminds me of that. At this point, due to potential, I...

bottom line, sensabaugh is fat. hard to be good in the nba when you are a fat guard. not as hard in college.

harper went because of his brother. i have to think bailey went because of harper. which is interesting considering bailey is worse with harper out there.

    If not Flagg or Harper…

after flagg and harper, i'm still betting bailey. it has been rough for him the last few weeks so i don't blame anybody for pushing him down. but i trust his defense, motor and rebounding and the shooting/scoring is built for the nba and it will come around. i think nba spacing and ball...

yeah, i looked for an official measurement and came up blank. for a 6'11" (in shoes) guy, 7'3" is still very good, but i still wonder what the official number is.

he shares a lot of court time with Collier in spite of not starting together. throughout games, but in particular they've been finishing close games together regularly since Key went to the bench. if you don't think they spend a lot of time on the court together, it honestly makes me wonder...

ugh. those freaking shooting percentages. if he could get to 45 and 38 or so, he'd be damn good.

i think jokic has freakish wingspan which is why he seems so much bigger. and one of the many fairly subtle reasons he's so damn good. (edit) i'm a hack - just saw fish said the same thing two posts up.

key, is incredibly skilled. the question with him will always be whether the ball goes in the hoop often enough. can he be efficient? but he can create his own and for his teammates as well as any young guard.

lauri wasn't supposed to be such an incredible tank commander. dude just makes 50% of his shots, they win the last game and are up by 10+ in this one.

if you want another cody williams who is going to stand around doing nothing, be my guest. i was on an island regarding the mistake it would be to draft williams before the draft too. go ahead and make the same mistake a year later with bryant.
