Utah Jazz Select Walter Clayton Jr, Pick 18 (Trade)

I keep seeing Jalen Brunson while watching his highlights

Utah Jazz Select Walter Clayton Jr, Pick 18 (Trade)

If he turns out to be an NBA level lead ball handler, this might be a steal. If he can't develop that well and is a combo/bench guard, it's a decent but not great pick.

Utah Jazz Select Ace Bailey, Pick 5

We have to move at least one or two of these guys

Utah Jazz Select Ace Bailey, Pick 5

Does this pick motivate Cody? Does it matter?

Utah Jazz Select Ace Bailey, Pick 5

So who's shot attempts are going to drop next year so that Ace get put up 18 attempts per game?

Utah Jazz Select Ace Bailey, Pick 5

Unless the player declares publicly that they don't want to play here, it's all just speculation.

Utah Jazz Select Ace Bailey, Pick 5

We've really got young players across a variety of positions now.

    Game Thread 2025 NBA Draft - June 25th & 26th, 2025 - 6PM MT

Why was there so much reporting about Fears getting drafted here? Agent manipulation, as it really didn't make sense. So glad we went with Ace.

Why can't Adam Silver make this a little more casual and fun.

Is this kind of thing still socially acceptable on the left?

It's not just racial stand up, you could do this with a ton of general comedy movies from the past. In general it seems like society has less tolerance for mildly offensive material. Maybe it's not society in general, but rather there is now a critical mass of people that either don't enjoy...

Who Do You Prefer Among Ace Bailey, Tre Johnson & V.J. Edgecombe? (Poll)

Can we take on some garbage Philadelphia contracts for Lauri and other veterans, our 21st pick, for the #3? We would be basically giving up Lauri and 21 for pick #3. Would be cool to get 2 picks in the top 5

Cody Williams Hype and Appreciation Thread

Exum went #5 in a pretty solid draft class. Lots of quality rotation players and a couple stars. Williams going 10 in a historically weak draft, at least so far, is more excusable.

    Rookie Contract Power Rankings

Statistically it's very unlikely that all of these guys have a "decent career". It's more likely that a couple of these guys won't even be in the NBA in a few years. Also, really hard to evaluate any of these guys when they are playing on a team not trying win games.

    2024-2025 Tank Race

Based on the fact that Philadelphia 2025 draft pick is top 6 protected, and they are currently tied for the 5th worst record with the Nets, I don't think there is another team with more tanking incentive than Philly. If they don't stay ahead of the Nets in the tanking race, it only takes ONE...

Solving For Tanking, We're smart, let's figure it out

A few potential solutions I've considered: - Run the lottery for all non-playoff teams. Don't just use the lottery for the top 4 picks. I think a lot of tanking is to ensure a pick is no higher (worse) than a certain pick number, and if you lottery off everyone that didn't make the playoffs, it...

Game Thread Mar 19, 2025 07:00PM MT: Washington Wizards @ Utah Jazz

In a tanking classic, Mark Madsen took 7 3-pointers in a span of 9 minutes in the regular season finale for the Timberwolves in 2006. He had NEVER taken an NBA 3-pointer before that, and went 0-7. Who is our Mark Madsen Wednesday night?
