    Nitrogen Death Penalty

Totally get all the arguments here. I'm a vindictive person so If my wife or kids were beaten with a fireplace club, a galvanized pipe, and a walking cane for 20+ minutes and then stabbed upwards of 10 times with a 6 inch survival knife until they eventually bled out after several hours, i...

    Trade ideas

Was shocked to see that in 40% of Clarksons games this season he’s turned it over 5 times or more

Bit late, but better late than never- Hardy:

Seeing that managing who plays to maximize the success of the team is the basic definition of his job… it’s crazy it took this long to even decide that… but It would also help if Hardy could even just coach up or develop his players.

    OTA KJZZ DVR Setup

You can definitely do this. Did it last night, plus the Jazz+ subscription works on the nba app where you can get stats and such as part of the broadcast

    OTA KJZZ DVR Setup

the entire season of Jazz+ was $125 with a lot less effort than that, so color me confused

Jazz back on KJZZ next season

I don’t have a digital antenna, but if it connects to your tv via HDMI, you could just go buy a capture card for 20-30 bucks and run it to a laptop. Little more effort but maybe worth it

    Bike Hitch

We love our north shore rack but we got it forever ago. I just checked new prices and they’ve gone up significantly.

Walker Kessler named Western Conference Rookie of the Month for February

    Does WK already basically give us everything our $40M player would have (who most here deemed irreplaceable last season)? Who would you rather have? (Per36) Player A - 16.3p, 13.6r, 1.7b, 1.2a — 127ortg, 109drtg, 1.3vorp, 0.6dbpm, 0.2obpm, 19.4per Player B - 13.7p, 13.3r, 3.6b, 1.3a — 140ortg...

The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Agree, when combined with his insane usage and the “way” he has to get his points it’s likely very hard to maintain that for 82 games

Mitchell outdoes Luka for NBA performance of the year

I may be in the minority, but I thought he was very consistent last year too. He's just getting more reps and minutes this year, and the numbers show it. I think his occasional woes in the playoffs were less a consistency issue and more of a "he got shut down" issue without having other...

    Donovan Mitchell 71 points

Don played with the GOAT defensive monster last year and still had negative defensive metrics across the board. Just pointing out that improvement can be made with the right scheme. Having a stick up your *** about Don became the trendy thing to do on this site, I get it. But you can move past...

Mitchell outdoes Luka for NBA performance of the year

The averages and cumulative data both suggest he’s been pretty damn consistent lol. You’re acting like he’s going out and laying eggs 50% of the time, and big numbers are swaying the averages... but if you look at the volume, He’s only had one game all season in single figure scoring, and <20%...

    Donovan Mitchell 71 points

To be fair, this season, Don has a +0.7 DBPM while Laurie’s is -1.0.

Mitchell outdoes Luka for NBA performance of the year

The point is inconsistent players dont average 30ppg on good shooting over the course of the season. To your own point you singled out a 5 game stretch when in totality 80% of his games have been >20pts. And he’s shooting 49/41/87% on the season. That’s not inconsistent.

Mitchell outdoes Luka for NBA performance of the year

Are you comparing him to Luka or Lauri? You said Lauri throughout the post and then randomly concluded that luka has 1 sub-20. Just to round out the convo, Lauri has 12 sub-20s. Don has been very strong all season. I find it pretty hard to argue that someone is inconsistent when they’re...

Donovan Mitchell - CRT and Off Court Racial Issues were Draining

I’ve lived all over the country, west coast, east coast, the south, Utah. I recently moved to Philly, a predominantly black city. The sheer volume of black children and young adults being murdered here essentially daily has been the most draining thing I’ve maybe ever experienced from a city...

The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

I know the DM hate is real on this forum but what an insane game Friday night v Celtics. 31/6/5 so far on the season on 47/40/88, team is 4-1 Rudy’s doing his thing and his team is 4-2 And somehow we have more wins than both of them? Season is shaping up to be more fun than I thought it...

Where Do You Live? Inside Utah or Outside? (poll)

Can’t really argue about any of that. To be transparent, I live in the suburbs west of Philly (west of west Philly). Philly has some pretty awesome, historic, beautiful areas, full of culture and diversity. But good god there are some blights on the city, pockets of crime, and true feelings of...

Game Thread Oct 02, 2022 04:00PM MT: Jazz at Raptors (Preseason)

had league pass last year but this sounds a bit different. Is this in reference to the condensed replays available after the game? (They used to have a recording of the game where they’d strip away all the timeouts and commercial breaks from the game)
