18 points 11 rebounds and 3 blocked shots in 38 minutes in the Jazz last game for Jeremy. This guy needs more of a run next year. Those are almost superstar numbers.

all these years later.... he's still a tweener. I like the guy, but the second it became apparent that he'd never bulk up he shoulda been workin that corner 3 and prepping to guard 3s.

I totally agree and he showed great promise with his jump shot, just got to work hard at it.

This is game the Kevin Love does not try in? This is not game to sign guy for maximum contract based from.

Exactly.
Remember the artist formerly known as Chucker J. Smiles? I remember him having a couple of great games right at the end of 2 or 3 seasons.

I like Jeremy. He's a great guy: positive attitude, does a lot of community service. And his contract is very reasonable. But if Evans is ever more than somewhere in the 9-11 range on the Jazz, Utah will not be a playoff team. Keep him around? Yes. Make him a major part of the rotation? No.

He should play a combination of the role that rookie Millsap played and Brewer played, offensive rebound put backs and back door cut dunks. He could easily average 8-10 off the bench if he just did those things. Plus, the alley-oops!

Yep, won't be long before Jeremy Evans is a max player.

"Superstar" use to be a moniker reserved for players like Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, or Michael Jordan. Now it's used to describe a deep bench player like Jeremy Evans. <sigh>

I was making a joke comparing his numbers to JLIII, Try and Garrett for Shots outside the paint. My point about those numbers is if he could average that with the field goal % that he had in that game, then you have something.
