Los Angeles Lakers (stitches) draft looked like this:

#2 - D'Angelo Russell

#34 - Chris McCullough

#44 - Anthony Brown

*Los Angeles Lakers traded the rights to Delon Wright (#27) to the Phoenix Suns for the rights to Anthony Brown (#44) and the right to swap first round picks in 2017, if not conveyed it turns into two second round picks in 2017 and 2018.

What grade do you give them for this draft?

I'd give my draft A+. :D But I'm not voting in this one... :p

You should. In looking at your draft, I think there's a decent chance all 3 of the players you drafted will be in the first round - maybe top 35. DC has them all as first rounders as of now. Russell (4), McCullough (28) and Brown (26). Plus you picked up a future asset in the process. Well done. I gave you an A+.

B, you got a player which fits a need in Russell, probably the best pick available to you as well

This all hinges on Russell. If he is a star then great. If not and Okafor was, well. I say B+.

Los Angeles Lakers actual draft:

#2 - D'Angelo Russell

#27 - Larry Nance Jr

#34 - Anthony Brown

I can say with full confidence I had a better draft than the Lakers even though I selected 2 of the players they selected.

Yeah. Nance was a strange pick for the 1st round.

Kinda wish the Jazz would have bought that pick and taken R. J. Hunter instead of sitting tight. Pretty sure that 42, 54 and cash would have gotten it done.

When the Lakers took Brown at 34, I thought immediately in my head (didn't stitches get him at 44)? lol

I drafted 2 guys who went undrafted, lol. Good draft for stitches, I should have probably gone with A instead of B+. He did all he could do.

When are the rest of these coming?

I was targeting him for most of the early-mid second round, I just made a calculated decision that McCullough would be more likely to be gone and hoped Brown will fall or I will be able to trade up and get him. I tried hard to trade up, but nobody did bite on my offers so...

I took Porzingis at 5 and Grant at 21 for Philadelphia.

New York took Porzingis at 4 and Grant at 19. :)

Yah, I thought your draft was really solid.

We had the top-3 correct then Hack ****ed it up. One Love took WCS at 6 and that's what actually happened too. Was pretty cool to see how our mock stood up to the actual draft.
