Team writeup.

My team's biggest strength is the playmaking of the starting five, with Hardaway, Hill and Hakeem.

Hardaway is going to keep KJ and Dumars busy on the defensive end; if the matchup isn't going well, Cooper comes in to give them fits. LJ is too physical for young Garnett. There's no real back up PF for me to worry about.

And at the center, Hakeem flat out owns Ewing. They will double him, only for Hakeem to pass it out to someone like Miller, Smith, Majerle, LJ, etc. Vlade and Brad are no match, and the Chief will bully them in the battle of the backup bigs.

He averaged over 5.0 assists three times while playing under 30 minutes. I guess pg isn’t a stretch when you consider what those stats are over 36 and extrapolate how much greater they would have been sans Magic.

He was known as a guard forward combo. I’ve never seen him in a pg role and I’ve watched plenty of laker games from the 80’s. It is possible to get lots of assists withou being a pg and the showtime offense would be conducive to getting assists.
 
Team 6 really screwed up with his pf position. How in the world is LJ a starter in an 8 team draft, and this is the first I can remember Shareef Abdur-Rahim ever being drafted in one of these.

He should’ve tried to do what teams 1 and three did in building their bigs. A team of Shaq and Malone would’ve destroyed the 90’s and destroyed MJ’s legacy, IMO
 
I think this is the most even matchup yet. Really hard to pick. I like team 4 bench better but Hakeem is the best player on either team. So that leaves me to look at fit for the tie breaker. I like the fit of team 6 a little better but larry johnson is probably the worst player in either starting lineup. Damn this one is tough.

Haha. As I’m reading this I’m thinking “he knows the voting ended like 2-3 days ago right?”gotta love the senior moments.
