Memphis has 9, 39, and 57. I don't think it is worth giving up 10 and one of 29/32 to move up one spot..

The Spurs have 4, 8, 35, and 48. They would probably look to consolidate, not expand, but might give 8 & 35 for 10 & 29.

Portland has 7, 14, 34, and 40. Similar situation to the Spurs. Best case might be 7 and 34 (or 40) for 10 and 29.

Charlotte would be more interesting. They have 6 and 42. I doubt they would do 6 for 10 and 29, but maybe they would give both of theirs for all three of ours. Many people her probably wouldn't do that since they like prospects in the 29 or 32 range, but I would to ensure we get a better chance of getting our guy at 6 and still having a chance at 42 for someone. I don't think 10 and 29 are enough for 6 or even 6 and 42.

Detroit has 5 and 53. Maybe they would see enough team needs to take all three of our picks for their two.

I can't see 29 or 32 moving us up from 10 unless its a Bilal/Jarace situation like last year where pacers and wiz flipped spots. Both got the guy they wanted.

Charlotte and Detroit are teams I could see potentially making a move back but I'd guess it would be a future pick or a player they are after and not a jump up from 42 or from 53. Detroit also traded the 32nd pick to us so they may not be super interested in adding multiple young players.

If you can consolidate 29/32 into say 22 or 17 you might be able to do 10/17 for 6 maybe?
 
I'm wondering if there will be a Lively-like player in this draft who rockets up the board and is a huge surprise. It'd be nice if one went top-9 so someone could perhaps fall to us.

I think Holland could be there at 10 and there's a chance someone will fall like Knecht or less likely Dillingham.

It's going to be very interesting to see what Ainge does. I trust in him and expect him to have a plan for whatever happens.

Was Lively a surprise? He was the #1 ranked college player preseason...

He's extremely fast running the court. That's about the only outlier thing I saw.

Yeah, everyone's good but it's flashes that can be added on top. His getting the ball in the post sucks royally but other things with only a couple years playing is impressive. If he is average now, then if he is really taught how good can he be?

But every draft has athletic raw bigs. What's special about Chomche that makes him the project you want to invest in? I'm just not seeing it. He's so far away it's not worth it.

I think he will develop as a long distance shooter based on the free throw rate and flashes of a shot - no mid range shot. I believe he guards the perimeter and protects the rim. There may be a lot bigs like that but if you can get a piece cheaply as second rounder then I would do it.

Not a lot of raw guys can defend the perimeter and the rim and has a chance to develop a shot. He is clunky with the ball with his hands if you double him close to the rim and turns it over but he hasn't played long either.

He's got a big body and he plays hard. He's got some tools. There's a bit of touch and a bit of passing, but it doesn't looks like he'll build his game around it. Honestly, I was hoping he'd be a bit more fluid and coordinated. I wanted to see a young Alonzo Mourning, and he....isn't.

I read 76% for his free throw rate which matches Castle but he doesn't have a hitch in his shot and the ball spins appropiately and his arms and hands are set pretty good in a good pocket. Being that he is young there is a chance he reaches another level when he doesn't have to think too much on offense.

I could see the Jazz make that move for Filipowski or Ware if one of them is there. I just don't think the Jazz are happy with Kessler and Collins at the 5. Another possibility would be Carrington, or if someone like Devin Carter slips. I think if the Jazz want to buy back into this draft they should be able to. Both AJ Johnson and Nikola Djurisic look interesting. There are several other guys in the early 2nd worth picking up -- Dillon Jones, Dadiet, Tyson, etc.

He should be able to do more or less what Robert Williams does.

Knecht would be a great pick for Houston or Memphis. I could see San Antonio taking him as well, as they're reportedly trying to accelerate their timeline.
