2nd Chance...Season Record Prediction. Is 50 wins still achievable?

Jazz need to finish the season 16-10 to get to 50 wins. Looking at the remaining schedule, this doesn't look possible. I see us finishing the season 12-14 with a very tough schedule vs. many playoff teams.
Maybe the Jazz catch a break if Golden State and San Antonio have their playoff seeding locked up and decide to rest all of their starters towards the end of the season.

We got 20 more wins in us. We will be healthy, rested and motivated the rest of the season.

We are 34-22 so that would make our final record 54-28. With that record we barely miss out on the 3rd seed and get the 4th seed.

I think i originally predicted like 48 or 49 wins for season. Still think they finish right around there.

Conspiracy theory: We are playing for the 6 seed so we don't have to play GS until the conference finals :)

No way teams do that. Not at this point in the season. That's being way too clever for one's own good. That's the kind of thing that falls apart and you don't end up in 6th, but in 9th.

I doubt it. I think the Jazz main focus is just getting out of the first round, so they would want homecourt advantage for that round badly.

Based on the record thus far we have 4 1/2 wins left against winning teams. Let's round that up to 5 since we're going to be able to sneak one by either the Spurs or Warriors to close the season. We have nine and three-quarters wins left against losing teams. Let's round that up to 10 just cuz that gets us to 50.

Pretty dumb to predict Jazz goin 4-11 on the road bud. Jazz will get 16 wins from the time of your post. I belief that is 49 wins.

If we play the Clippers in the first round(which is the most likely outcome), Jazz having homecourt doesn't really matter, the Clips actually have a better record vs. the jazz on the Jazz homecourt than at Staples Center. Since 2012, Clippers are 9-1 at Utah (currently a nine game win streak), 8-1 in LA.

I actually don't want to play the clippers at all, even with homecourt I think we could get beat pretty easily, we are a better team but we seem to play our worst games against the Clips for whatever reason.

Homecourt still matters.
