Gordon - Scorer/shooter off bench
Hickson - Big body; good rebounder
Flynn - Young PG, a more skilled Ronnie Price
Cleveland's #4 (which they use to take Knight)
Why do they do this: Become deeper, younger team; Get Knight and Kanter; Deep frontline: Hickson, Jefferson, Millsap, Kanter, Favors; Future PGs: Flynn, Knight (resign Watson); SGs: Ben Gordon can back-up Gordon Hayward or they can play together sometimes; Target SF free agents

Cleveland gets:
Rip Hamilton - Veteran SG; to play alongside Kyrie Irving
Martell Webster - Shooter/Bench guy
Minnesota's #2 - Draft Derrick Williams
Why do they do this: Get picks #1 and #2; Were willing to take/waive Hamilton at trade deadline

Minnesota gets:
Devin Harris - Veteran PG; can start or back-up Rubio
Raja Bell - Veteran leadership, which is what they say they are craving
Utah's #12 - Draft C Motiejunas or SG Burks/Thompson
Has right to swap 2012 pick with Cleveland
Why do they do this: Veteran Leadership; Get rid of players they don't want

Detroit gets:
Okur - Like him; expiring contract; need center
Davis - PG that can play alongside Stuckey
Why do they do this: Save money; Unload 2 bad contracts
 
Of course, you know that will never happen. It does seem interesting. However, I'm not a big fan of Ben Gordon. I'd rather get Martell Webster or one of the other high draft picks.
 
So we then have Jefferson, Milsap, Favors, Hickson and draft kanter with the third. I guess we could do another trade but thats a lot of PF's that may or may not be able to play center. But I would gladly get rid of Okur, 12th, bell and harris to get the 3rd, hickson and ben.
 
Horrible trade. Wolves would never do this.

Also why would we want
Hickson, Kanter, Millsap, Favors & Jefferson????

Are we just going to start 5 big guys? There is no playing time for anyone in the front court. We all know Jefferson and Favors are the core front court right now.

We only need 1 more guy and he needs to be able to play Center though.

Kanter is the guy. No need for Hickson and Millsap. Only need 1 and actually I don't want another PF. Jefferson and Favors are both PF's. We need a Center to back up these guys. Guy with a wide body.
 
I was thinking why would Detroit do this. It seems they are willing to give away the 8th pick to unload Rip's contract. So why would they turn around and take on Davis horrid contract.
