#5 for Rondo

When is Rondo eligible for an extension? If we could swing this and extend Rondo we could get the prime of career.

His physical prime is already over. Players tend to have their individually most productive seasons around age 27. Athletic prime is 22-25 mostly. After that experience expanding the game can add individual value.

What about our #5 to ATL for their #15 and Teague?

Then trade our #23 and #15 to Minny for their #13 and pick up Stauskus??

ONly guy I like on the Hawks is Horford.

Translation: Rondo is a stud.

Also, I suggested lots of other trades.. do you like any of them?

we are rebuilding, so i would rather see us develop our own talents. this is supposed to be a very deep draft. we could potentially get 3 studs. unless top 5 players is coming, no thx to trade.

I'd do that

Teague / Burke / Garrett
Burks / P.J. Hairston(@35) / Clark
Hayward / Hood (@15) / Thomas
Kanter / Payne(@23)/ Evans
Favors / Gobert

... id enjoy watching this team. love the depth, the bench unit would SNIPE.

Teague is a great PG, and has a solid contract. How is he defensively tho. If he isn't that great defensively, then I don't really care for his athleticism, and I'd be fine with hanging onto Black Jesus.

Defensively he's as atrocious as Burke.

I'm not sure I learned anything about the defensive abilities of the players on this Corbin lead team that became the worst in the league.

I love, love, love Rondo, but not sure I would do it. I'd do something like Rondo and #17 for Burke and #5. That way we still have a shot at someone with star potential from this draft, as Zach Lavine per draftexpress is currently slotted to go there, and if we felt he was rising, we could package #17 and #23 to move up higher, potentially.

Yes, I am crazy.

I've always wanted to see our core with a pass first PG who could also defend and drive. I believe we'd look like studs with someone like Rondo. I'm all for youth at every position, except for starting PG.

Defensively, our whole team would look better with him.

I also think Hayward's shot would return because he wouldn't be responsible for always setting up others, and wouldn't have to always run after Trey's man that just blew by him.

Kanter would look better on D too, because Hayward could focus on his own man (where he excels at on the ball D,) because you know Rondo would contain the point. Less leakers in the front court, means less enes has to worry about, which means favors has less to worry about.

Lavine mentored by Rondo would be ill too! Rondo is a genius at passing and D. If he passed those traits into someone like Lavine who is just so gifted athletically, and with a shooter's touch. WATCH OUT!
