50 Greatest Playoff Series

Another great playoff series where the Jazz lost was the 1988 WC Semifinals vs. the Lakers. "Young" Stockton & Malone took the Lakers to 7 games.
I remember going to game 3 of that series in the old Salt Palace. Loudest I've ever heard that place.

Interesting list. My 3 biggest disagreements:

1. Utah/Sacramento from '99 (unranked) was - by far - a much better series than '95 Utah/Houston (ranked 46th). Not only did all 3 regular season games go to OT, but by virtue of a single shot, the Jazz could've won Game 3 (lost in OT) and the Kings could've won Games 4 (lost on Stock game-winner) & Game 5 (Vlade missed a hook to end regulation and Sac lost in OT). Throw in the crowds at Arco Arena and the Delta Center and a half dozen oncourt confrontations - just great, great playoff basketball.
'95 Jazz/Rockets had just one memorable finish - Game 1 - in which the Jazz were beneficiary of a clock malfunction.

2. '98 Pacers/Bulls ECF should be ranked much higher than 19th. Forget the other 6 games, Game 4 alone should put that series in the top-10.

3. '97 Houston/Seattle conf semis (23rd) instead of '97 Utah/Houston WCF. Eddie Johnson and Stockton buzzer-beaters in Games 4 & 6 with a trip to the Finals on the line as opposed to only 1 dramatic finish between Rockets/Sonics.
