If we stay at 5, this better be our guy. Obviously loves the game. That attitude is infectious.
 
Maybe it's nothing but Gordon was last player in for final interview and workout.
This was his second time in also.
Did Jazz bring him in last for final confirmation he was their pick at #5?
 
Funny... I said in another thread that the second workout was probably to verify that his shooting was not a fluke. Hopefully he showed that. The gap between Gordon and Wiggins is not wide enough to give up as many assets as were rumored.

I love Gordon's work ethic. I believe to be an elite scorer he needs to have even more of an alpha attitude, but then again I never really got that from Durant as well.

I will be perfectly happy to stay at 5 and take Gordon, if he's still there.

He said that they wanted to see if his hot shooting was a fluke or not in the first workout.
 
As of today, the gap between Gordon and Wiggins is considerable. That is all there is to say about that.
 
You will never say you "busted" by drafting a kid like AG. He will absolutely be a player in this league. The gamble is on his shooting. Get him serviceable and at least around 60% FT and he will be a kid every team in the league will covet.

Get him to have a few go to moves, along with a shot? Best player in this draft.

I agree that is why I want Gordon and McDermott in this draft

He may not be the best player in this draft, but he sure is my favorite one. I'm down to Wiggins and Gordon. I want one if those two guys. If the price is too high for Wiggins, stay put and take Gordon. Simple as that. Jabari is a stud, but the concerns keep me from pulling the trigger on a huge deal for him and I hope other teams are snookered into drafting Exum, Vonleh and Embiid. Too much risk in all of the prospects, but I see the room for improvement and the desire to win as being highest in Air Gordon. Hope he can join the Jazz officially starting tomorrow night.
