This thread might not even be relevant by the end of the day (seeing Jabari might stay at Duke) but didn't we already have a big who could score 20 PPG but couldn't play defense? Jefferson... How'd that work out? plus he'd be undersized...

Though I hope Jabari declares, I would like to officially declare I am off the Jabari Bandwagon as a top 3 pick.

The Start of My big board looks as follows:

Wiggins
Exum
Embiid
Gordon (If he's 6'9... Parker if Gordon is 6'8)

Ya'll should not have Parker in your top 3 either.

He seems like a great kid and all but...

Another thing to consider is that Favors is the 40th best defensive center in the league this year based on statistics. I know other factors come into play but as Locke pointed out, this might be because Favors is undersized to play the 5. This would of course mean that Playing Jabri at the 4 and favors at the 5 would only spell disaster.

exum wont be **** in the NBA.

He's got some elite skills... you really think he'll be crap? Can you give me a logical argument I can chew on? I am curious to hear why you think he'll be so bad. And btw, Darko did not have the elite physical tools or an elite skill that Exum has.

I just thought of something. What if Jabari is waiting to see the final standings because there's a specific team he wants to play for and he's hoping they'll have a better chance in the lottery. Maybe he's hoping we lose and Orlando wins. :o

Big Al weighed 290 while playing for the Jazz. Jabari has a good handle and he will end up playing SF. Hardly any rookies play good defense. He can be taught to play good defense, if you have a good coach.

I wouldn't take Jabari #1, and I don't think we are his top spot to play either.

Jabari is from Chicago.

He went to Duke.

He is dragging out his announcement, IE, garnering more publicity.

I doubt he is pumped to play in Salt Lake City (especially after the embarrassment that occurred when he visited Provo, grow up people) or Milwaukee. I bet he hopes he ends up in LA or Boston or Orlando before Utah.

My draft board looks like this:

Wiggins
Gordon (if he measures out at 6 ft 9 or potential to be taller, ie, measures out as a PF)
Embiid
Parker
Exum/Randle
Gordon (if he measures out small and projects as a SF)
