Any tech-savvy person know why I sometimes type a word in a post and then when I hit submit, that word has automatically turned into a hyperlink? Happened today when I typed "careers" in one of my posts. I'm not inserting a link and it doesn't show as a link when I type it in. Can't figure out how to go back in and edit the link out, either.

Are we done with this? Is it no longer a concern? If you're still having the problem, I do suggest you give us more information.
 
I'm pretty sure I know what he's talking about. Some sort of ad-ware got installed and now when specific words are in a field of text there is a little underline, like a hyperlink, but the ones I've seen are green underlines. If you hover over them a little ad pops up that is somehow related to that word (like the word "savings" might have an ad for Wells Fargo or something). Usually if you click on the little bubble that pops up it'll take you to the website for what's being advertised.

I know how to fix it. Reinstall Windows. Works everytime for at least a few days.

It probably is adware. That's why I urged him not to ignore it. The question is whether it's a simple browser extension or a third party application.
