Any interest in Lousville's Russ Smith?

His daddy says he is entering the draft. Definitely a score first type PG. But he is super fast and pretty athletic. Guys like Burke and Smart will be gone when the Jazz draft so if the Jazz can't move up this is a guy we will need to look at. He is a tough competitor who I think would fit in well.

I would be happy with him with one of our mid-first round picks. He would be a good back up/change of pace PG backing up a Teague or Bledsoe.

Louisville*

I think he already has a promise from the Jazz, must have thats why he is entering the draft.

See, KOC picked Louisville to win the tournament, and yesterday KOC said that Michagan didn't have enough ball handling to beat Louisville so clearly he was tipping his hand that the Jazz are going to draft Russ Smith.

I trully beleive that with the addition of Lindsey anything is possible this offseason. I'm not making any guesses, nor getting my heart set on any players because I got this feeling that Lindsey is going to shake it up in major ways.

No thank you.... especially for an organization like the jazz.

Watching him make boneheaded decisions and knowing who his brother is, I think it is a high probability that he ends up being a head case with a bad attitude.

Why you gotta be so mean?

...I don't follow college ball much at all.....so I'm taking your assessment as true. It would be nice to get a fast guy, kinda like Westbrook, who can blast past his man since the rules have changed in favor of the fastest guy who won't get called for palming! But more than likely, the Jazz will draft the Louisville guy who shot lights out and looks like "Maynard G. Krebs!" I haven't researched his profile so I'm asking how tall is the guy who won the MVP for Louisville last night? What's the dope on him? Is he "pro" material or what?

6-6

At barely 6-feet, he is an undersized Jason Terry-type. In the pros, he is Mo Williams or Bobby Jackson at best. I think he is a middle second-rounder at best, so if he is on the board when the Jazz pick, I could see Utah taking him. But, I would rather have Ryan Kelly.

I like Russ Smith as a off the bench sparkplug scorer. I see him as a second round value. If he is shooting was more consistent he would have more value.
