Any One Want Paul George Now

I love Hayward

George is great too.

I would take both.

George even more after this series. He held up pretty good against Lebron

I watched the game, and offensively i forgot he was even there. That's not to say that Hayward hasn't had that happen, but superstar? Not yet, not yet.

Let's be real here guys, Hayward is a top-5 player from the 2010 NBA Draft, but right now Paul George is the best player from that draft.

Lets be real guys...

The entire Pacers team disappeared.

You knew the Heat were too prideful to be steamrolled at home. To take out the heart of 2 HOFers (one is going to go down as the BP ever) is exceptionally tough. No way Lebron and one legged Wade were going to go down without a fight.

I blame the Pacers lack of PG on this one. The collapse happened early when the Pacers lost control of the tempo, offense went into a stall, and they threw like 100 straight passes to the Heat for breakaway dunks. Think of it this way, the Pacers would have looked 100x better with just Jamaal Tinsley or Howard Eisley at the point. That is how bad their quarterbacking was.

If I'm Indy, I'm using Granger as trade bait for a point guard. Not even an elite one. Just a half decent PG.

The Pacers found out just as the Jazz found out, to actually kill off the best player in the game, it's damn harder than it looks. Lebron and MJ are good enough to basically win games all by themselves. Michael and the sick game... Lebron and the Detroit game a few years back, what he did to the Celtics last year, and what he did tonight.

Spurs better cowboy up. The Heat are coming and aren't going to wait for the Spurs to shake off that rust.

I wanted George on draft night...Hayward's nice but has nowhere near the potential George does.

That's why in this draft we've got to swing for the fences and go on physical potential first and foremost. Then, fight, determination and willingness to improve. We've got to get guys that are physically going to be able to go toe to toe with the likes of Lebron, Durant, etc.

Guys in our range with these qualities seem to be:

- Schroeder (elite speed, quickness)

- MCW (great length, athleticism for PG)

- Adams (Legit 7 footer, lots of room to grow)

- Greek Freak (Bball wise not there yet, but great size, big hands, enormous wingspan)

- Gobert (need I say more?)

Gone are the days when you can settle for the likes of Kyle Korvers of the world (Karasev) or Jimmer (Wolters). We need to get guys with athleticism, size and speed. The basketball side of things will come if they're willing to improve.

For the love of all things holy, no more Paul George threads. We picked Hayward and that is that.

Anyone being honest will say George.

Don't lie, he's clearly the best player out of the 2 and it isn't even close.

The question is, how much is George's stardom due to a coach believing in him and playing him vs how much has Hayward's progression been damned because of a jackass coach and blind FO? Reverse the 2 roles, and we're right now all talking about how much we missed on passing up on Hayward.

The way we have "developed" our c4 is nothing short of asinine. Seriously, not another coach in the league would have started Josh Howard, Marvin Williams, Randy Foye, Paul Millsap, and Big Al over Burks, Hayward, and two top 3 draft pick big men.

It's mind boggling how much time we've pissed away with the vets and how much time has been wasted NOT developing the young guys.

Reverse the 2, and we're probably all talking about how much we missed on passing up on Hayward.

Very well could be, I thought this same thing during Deron and Paul's rookie year. We could've taken CP3 and buried him behind McLeod and Palacio while Deron was getting 35 MPG en route to rookie of the year in NO.

When was Wolters ever compared to Jimmer, this is the first I have heard about it. Jimmer could not even sniff Nate Wolters jock of how good Wolters is a passer, plus Wolters is a far better athlete and 3 inches taller.

Wolters at 14! If Zeller is there take Zeller, then Nate Wolters at 21! I am Big D Orcutt and I approve this message.

This campaign is brought to you by Vivint (home security at its best) and the Law Tigers!

I get that, but let's learn form it before we move on...

What more is there to learn. This same topic is a weekly occurrence and everyone voices their opinion one way or the other. I get that it is slow around here this time of the year but come on.

Paul George has already done much more than anyone on last year's Jazz team. What a ****ing loser.

OP: You should stick to obsessing over scrubs and contributing opinions about them to a sea of people that don't care.

The Pacers are a PG away from the Finals.

We are a team and coach away from the Finals.

Or a healthy Danny Granger (that knows he's not The Guy) and a less-healthy Wade? The Pacers were DAMN close. Or a backup PF that isn't Tyler Hansbrough (he is one of the worst players I've ever seen on a good team). Or a backup PG that can do anything.

Mr. George kind oof got lit up and also disappeared. Disscuss

This is the Western Conference Finals.

This was one game.

Sounds to me like you were looking for the obvious "one bad game" to dog Paul George.

I like the Haywerd and all, but Paul George > Gordon.

There's always an offseason. Meaning there is always an offseason for Paul George, too.

Fair enough.

The last 2 seasons, the pacers have taken the best to 6 and 7 games.

It's threads like these which show how some jazz fans are just full of sour grapes. What Larry bird did to create this team? Should be the blueprint for KOC and Lindsey. What frank Vogal and thibs do for their teams, is what we need for our team. We will never have lebron or Kobe. But we can have a good team who plays their butts off for a hard nosed defensive minded coach. Again, it all begins with firing Corbin. This team won't go anywhere until we fix that
