Dear Jazz Fan:
This afternoon, a percentage of Jazz fans who had downloaded the new Utah Jazz app were inadvertently notified they had won two free tickets to tonight’s Jazz game vs. the Dallas Mavericks. This message was only meant for 500 randomly-selected winners, each of whom had been originally notified that they had won via email on January 18. The eligible winners were selected from those users who had previously provided their name and email address when they downloaded the app and agreed to enter the drawing for 500 pairs of tickets upon their registration. Unfortunately, due to a system error, additional Utah Jazz app users beyond the intended 500 recipients may have also received notification via the Utah Jazz app today.
Our fans are our top priority, and while we are unable to fulfill the additional ticket requests for tonight’s game, we will provide all Utah Jazz app users who opted to enter the drawing for Jazz tickets prior to 2 p.m. on January 19 with a complimentary pair of tickets to a Salt Lake Bees home game between April 1 and May 15, 2012. Those eligible users will receive instructions via email prior to February 2 on how to redeem their Bees tickets. In addition, they will also be eligible to win one of 500 pair of tickets that will be drawn for the Jazz game on January 28 vs. the Sacramento Kings.
