Are Marvin, RJ and Lucas still on the roster

Marvin Williams and Richard Jefferson are unrestricted free agents so they can choose to go to another team without any opportunity for us to match or release their rights. Marvin and RJ are not members of the Utah Jazz technically starting July 1st but we can not trade their rights or contracts between now and July 1st. John Lucas has a 2nd year team option that is not guaranteed so we have until, I think, January 1st to be able to waive him without any financial ramifications or guarantee his contract for the remainder of the season.

I can't see any of them coming back with the exception of Marvin, but I think he'll want more than we offer. He may also be looking at trying to go to a contender at this point.
 
RJ is the "hired gun"..lol. So he's gone to contender. Lucas if they cant get rid of him in a trade for a bag of chips then ground his butt on the bench never to be played.
As for Marvin I like him but he might also head to a contender and wish him well.
 
I don't like any of them. All they did was slow the development of the young guys. Guess they would've been ok for practice but not game time. Didn't Corbin realize that by playing them so much he was basically ensuring that he would lose his job? Guess it was over his head. Trying to win was actually losing. We all saw this at the beginning of last season. And here we are now trying to move up because of his foolishness. The FO is just as much to blame for keeping him as the coach last season. Probably was the Millers, though, who prevented his removal.
