What's new

At this point I think i've seen enough of Burke and maybe it's time for more and more exum.

I'm all in on the idea that Burke needs to be traded or moved to the bench. . . but not yet. Unless something crazy comes around, Burke and Exum should both continue in their current roles. Unless and until Dante Exum makes it IMPOSSIBLE to keep him off the floor, they shouldn't Rush his development. Make him EARN the starting job. Not just win it by default. The Jazz can either get better with Trey at the helm, or they can continue to tank. Exum might be the better option (certainly long term) but I don't want them to rush things to simply try to force the team into wins right now. Development is paramount, and I think both guys are best served long-term right where they are.

Dante always looks tired. I sometimes wonder if he has anemia or something. He has a huge upside based on this alone though. The Jazz need to get him a personal trainer and dietician ASAP.

He's 19 in the NBA going up against the best players in the world. He should be tired. Again, 19 years old. Welcome to the NBA, I encourage you to watch other teams other than the Jazz to get a better understanding of what the Jazz have in Exum.

I'm a huge fan of Exum, as I've stated many times here. And what makes you think I watch the Jazz only and that I need a better understanding of what the Jazz have in Exum? I encourage you to understand that I have been watching the NBA since I grew up in Detroit in the 1970's, and regularly attended Piston's games up to and including their run as the "Bad Boys". I've seen every star in this league since Bill Walton and Kareem Abdul Jabbar play in person. And I've seen a ton of those players at age 19, or even 18 play against the best players in the world. Exum is weak, plain and simple. That doesn't mean he sucks, and doesn't mean he won't turn into a star. It just means he needs a program to get stronger ASAP. Maybe he has that going on already, but I haven't heard about it.

Too many elite PGs in the West. Cant risk injury. Besides Exum has not earned it yet. How about Ian Clark? He is a combo guard, a sharp shooter not a true PG. But he can't possibly play worse than Trey, can he?
