Batman's Thoughts (Eat Crow Yamers and all you Exum Haters!!)

Putting biases aside, do you think Booker's foul on Griffin was Cheap? (Griffin indicated it was)

Yes, the Jazz ARE for real. The WC is tough - and deep. But something tells me the Jazz are going to be like the Suns of last season. Everyone is going to be overlooking Utah, expecting an easy win and the Jazz will surprise quite a few team early on. After the break, when teams start to really push for the playoffs, Utah's youth will start to show. But it would not surprise me one bit if this team finishes at .500.
Agreed I can see us anywhere between 35-42 wins we may win alot to start with teams under estimating us but that might slow later on in the season
As for Griffin- A wise man once said in so many words "inside the paint is where men are made. If you can't play there, you should be home with your mama"

I know. Can you imagine him going against the likes of Malone, Barkley, and shaq? They would have destroyed him. Then laughed at is whiny ***.

Malone is still working with the team and helping them on defense. When I saw that play I thought it was a little cheap, but also a part of basketball. Sometimes you have to "send a message" like Malone and other hard core defensive players from the 90's did it. I actually really liked it and I think defensive stances here and there are what the Jazz have been lacking over the last decade.

Anybody who gave up on Exum before the season even started should just change their username now. You have disgraced yourself.
As far as I know, akmvp is the only one who have up on exum.

I live in Vegas so I get most of the Clipper and Laker games on TV. I agree about the Clippers announcers. Ralph Lawler is one of the best and last of his kind a-la Hot Rod Hundley. They are the one non-Jazz announcing team that I like. And I'm not all that high on Bolerjack and Harpring. (Love Ron Boone though)

Agree with this. The Lakers announcers, on the other hand, are the WORST.

I think At this point Rudy and Booker are the toughest players on the team. Maybe throw Dante Jones in there if he makes the team. Anyone disagree?

I do not disagree!! I think that Griffin was looking to get his team jacked up and mentally into the game when he did that. It was another hard NBA foul situation. Booker would of been remiss if he didn't foul him like that. What the officials thought they saw by calling any kind of technical is a mystery to me. Again, it seems they took note of the players involved and covered the Superstars act.

He was looking to get free FT's and limits Booker's aggressiveness on defense.

If Booker still played after teh foul, any contact made in the game between those 2 would have been called much more closely. Advantage: Griffin.

That is why I hate this **** so much. Superstars know they can overreact with little to no consequence. No one is going to punch their lights out because no one wants to get a ton of games. Refs think if they don't start calling everything tight, then a fight will break out. Now Blake can either live at the line, or get open lanes to dunk without fear of contact. Such BS.

Yep. #1 problem in the nba imo.

Watch how fast Burks gets into foul trouble tonight while guarding kobe

I give you credit about these star call skandals on todays NBA... The only NBA Star who is not getting star calls = BIG-AL JEFFERSON... That shows how huge of a personality he is.
