Mavs had too waive the forer Air Force Staff Sgt who was a second round pick last year. His per 36 minute average was pretty good. He started 11 games for the Mavs last year.

I thought he looked alright. I don't know how he fits here otherwise I would say give it a shot. I think I would rather play him over andri beandress though

I think I'd prefer him over Biedrins too, even if he is mature (James is 28) he still has more of a future. Would be useful as a 4th big after this season.

I like Bernard James his timing is incredible for a shot blocker. Which I think is more important than length. Plenty of long guys don't make it in the league.

The only problem is we as fans are so used to guessing who we will sign because our GM would tell us nothing. I love how Lindsey is open with us. He flat out said we need a back up big man that can spread the floor. So again I like Bernard but I do agree we need someone to space the floor with Kanter and Favors. Someone like that will be a good change of pace for teams to adapt to.

Well they passed on Erik Murphy so either it's not that important to them right now or they think Neto is going to be quite good.

As far as James, sure, why the hell not.

I assume someone will pick him up. He is decent even though he is old, and he is cheap.

I just really doubt it's us. We are already stacked with young interior players (Favors, Kanter, Gobert).

A team can always use a 5th big. I guess you could argue that the Jazz have that when considering Evans, but I kind of don't consider him a real basketball player, so...
