Big Al to Portland?

Hypothetically, let's say Hibbert signs with Indiana and Kaman somewhere else. The Blazers are left out to dry. They will be looking to pick up a serviceable center. There is still Javale Mcgee and Brook Lopez (both restricted). Or, how about Jefferson? I'm not sure what we would want from them other than maybe Wes Mathews which they probably wouldn't want to give up. I'm just saying we know how they love Utah players and will be desperate at the center position.

Discuss.

Dwight Howard and Roy Hibbert are going to get moved before we see Al traded, I imagine. Chris Kaman will likely need to find a landing spot too.

Which ever teams lose out on one of those three guys might give KOC a call.

I agree with respect to Dwight and Hibbert, but I think Al might be as or more desirable than Kaman such that Kaman's status will not affect Al, but I could be wrong...

I don't think Al fits that well for them and I would be surprised if Portland called. The team I think will call will be Houston since they were forced to send out a very good PG, and ultimately struck out on their number one FA target.. their own PG Dragic. I think they would give up one of their picks if we want it (Royce White) and a future 1st. They may land the defensive center from Chicago (forgetting name right now) and he would be a good fit with Al's defensive weaknesses.

I would like to see:

Al/Bell

for

KMart/Royce White/ 1st Rounder

Send KMart to Philly for Iggy.

Watson and Al for the draft rights to lillard, and wes matthews.

Hmmm... have you woken up?

I'm willing to bet that you got up - sleep walked to your computer, turned it on, typed those words, wondered back to bed - and continued dreaming.

:p
