Consider this: San Antonio's expected starting five (Murray, DeRozan, Gay, LaMarcus Aldridge and Gasol) combined for 205 made threes between them last season. Nine players cleared that marker on their own. Put another way: The Spurs' entire starting lineup brings the three-point volume of Joe Ingles (205 made treys).

Ouch. Okay, maybe the Spurs won't be better than the Jazz.

Oy!

Spurs won 47 games with LMA as their best player, the Kawhi mockumentary, and Pops going through his grief.

I never take the Spurs for granted.

Had Leonard played last year, we still would’ve been better. The only reason we didn’t win more then 48 games was the massive amount of games missed to key players.

Patty mills was also pretty bad last year... he should be better.

I do think they kind of performed better thinking Kawhi would be better sometime and it would help lift them.

I expect them to fall anywhere between 45-50 wins depending on health.

I think if we only got 9 games out of Donovan or Rudy (who aren't on Kawhi's level) we would've struggled mightily.
