Pretty sure Malone got some boos when he came back to the DC as a Laker. When asked about it Malone said he had no problem as he understood the fans cheer for the Jazz and boo the opposition and he was now the opposition.

Karl never played as an opponent in the DC. I remember the Jazz doing a lame stunt involving Karl, which they later apologized for. Is that what you are talking about?

As a general rule it's usually about 10 % of a large group than ends up screwing things up for other 90%
