dude looked confused out of his damn skull.

looked like he was in Dleague shape. Dribbled the ball off his foot like a scrub and then watching this guy rebound made me want to **** my self. Guy has 0 lift. Cement feet Diaw.

would trade em for a bag of chips.

He might be a little bit like JIngles. Doesn't pass the eye test but does other stuff that may not show up in the Box Score. Remember he was subject to Pop for several seasons so he knows the Spurs way.

Our vet discussions are gonna be fun this year...... One night we'll hate Diaw and love JJ, vice versa the next night, one night George Hill da best, the next night Hill sucks, start Exum and have Mack first off the bench, etc.

I like you as a poster, great guy. If you find a noose over one game I wish your family my deepest condolences.

Who starts PF for the Lakers? Randle? That will be a much easier matchup. Don't even have to guard him outside of 10 feet though he might wreck Diaw on the boards.

funny Boris was da man during pre season,he is still a good addition but he wasn't signed on to start yet he's starting....Boris will be better in small doses

He was awful last night. Frankly my expectations for him are low. He was the one vet acquisition I was not excited about. Him playing over Lyles is a joke, IMO.

At this point in his career, Diaw will have some god awful games like he did last night, but he will also have some great games. That's just part of the territory of being his age. I'm hoping the average out to the point he's an asset, and I think they will. Still, I wish Quinn would have a quicker hook on him. Last night Lyles should have got more of Diaw's minutes, even though Lyles wasn't doing all that great either.

Love it. 1 game in and we are already looking for someone to hate.

Diaw was the main reason the offense went stagnant in the 2nd q, that sequence with him and Exum playing hot potato with the shotclock running out was particularly ugly.. Despite the block he looks like a soft spot in the defense and almost completely redundant with Trey Lyles......

I do question how they didn't anticipate the intensity of Portlands bigs making him look a step slower than usual.

I don't really mind him on the team as a vet presence or giving up the 2nd for him. His salary is a decent chunk though, it's fair to expect him to perform well, or question if the $$ would've been spent better elsewhere (I can think of a few names already).

Like Harrison Barnes on a max?

Diaw is great for a backup C at 10-15 minutes per game. He is not a starting PF though, especially against a smaller more athletic team like Portland. Hope we don't need him to start many games.

Overreaction much?
Coming out of the preseason, people were praising Diaw for his passing and wanted to run JJ out of town on a rail.

Diaw is NOT a starter. Then again, Lyles gave Utah nothing. Jazz are going to struggle at the 4/5 until Favors returns.

starting to become more and more clear that Diaw is finished.

22MPG 1.2 rpg

this guy is useless.

His weakness are amplified by him being a starter. In a backup role he could be ok, but it's looking like we misfired here. One of the biggest problems is when Snyder tries to play Diaw and Lyles together. That just won't ever work.

I really thought he would fit our team better than Booker. The dude physically cannot start on an NBA team anymore. Still interested in seeing him work with the 2nd unit, I think we've asked for too much from him

I'm more disappointed about Lyle's. I felt Booker not be resigned was more about Lyle's demanding more minutes. Lyle's has not shown that he can fill in as a starter this season. He should be forcing Boris to stay in his role coming off the bench.
