Boris "dead weight" Diaw

His weakness are amplified by him being a starter. In a backup role he could be ok, but it's looking like we misfired here. One of the biggest problems is when Snyder tries to play Diaw and Lyles together. That just won't ever work.

That, and our offense has been pretty stagnate the last two games. Diaw in a stagnant offense is terrible.

Not sure why people unequivocally loved this acquisition. Pops wanted him gone for reasons beyond getting Gasol.

Apparently I have breaking news. Diaw, is 34 years old and was not signed for his athletic ability, but instead to play the role as a veteran voice in the locker room and the sideline. Shocking isn't it? Many of you are surprised that a 34 year old veteran can't be the guy he was 7 years ago. I know. Reality kicks in. This thread was actually created by a moron who was so irritated that Boris Diaw (a 34 year NBA vet with gray hair) didn't come out and crush his career high stats, and he felt compelled to start a thread because of it. My advise is: pay attention to basketball before directing all your focus onto one player. Quit making posts. Think with your brain instead of your culo

I'm more disappointed about Lyle's. I felt Booker not be resigned was more about Lyle's demanding more minutes. Lyle's has not shown that he can fill in as a starter this season. He should be forcing Boris to stay in his role coming off the bench.

Agreed. I wasn't expecting much with the signing of Diaw. I was very surprised the Jazz didn't try to retain Booker. He was inexpensive, young, and brought tough D night after night. He also loved Utah. I wasn't happy to hear he signed with the nets. It's tough to replace a guy like Booker.
