Brandon Knight=Mo Williams

At that is probably his ceiling, Mo did make the All Star game in 2009. Their games seem almost identical to me.

-Knight and Mo both are great scorers and shooters on the perimeter

-both are just average at finishing at the rim

-both are quick but dont have elite speed

-both are above average defenders

-both are not great playmakers

-both are a scoring point guard

I think Mo Williams is a good estimator of where Knights career should be around if he turns out. 15-20 ppg and around 6 assist, maybe a trip or two to an all star game if things fall his way.

So do you want the Jazz to draft Mo Williams as the 3rd pick and have him be our future PG?

Mo Williams wasn't even half the player Brandon Knight was coming out of college. Brandon Knight does have elite speed, especially considering his size.

If he is only going to be as good as Mo Williams who we picked in the second round and then didn't even re-sign then NO!!! I see a quicker Kenyon Dooling in Knight. I don't think Harris has shown he is above average defender. I was actually disappointed in his defense.

Knight does not have elite speed like Paul, Westrook, collison, rose, rondo, Etc.

He also can't finish at the rim like those guys.

When Harris was in Dallas I thought he was a top 3 defensive PG. It always seemed like he gave DWill more fits than most. Not sure what's happened to him since, but it would be great if he got his defensive mojo back.

In this draft, you can say "do you want the Jazz to draft (player comparison) as the 3rd pick" with pretty much any guy out there. There is no obvious star who will be there at 3. Knight is probably the guy with the highest ceiling who will be available.

Don't quite agree on the Knight/Mo Williams comparisons - but if you can get a PG who's a bigger, stronger Mo Williams at #3 in this draft - that's not a bad pick (unless you're of the belief that Kanter is the next Nowitzki, Biyombo is the next Ben Wallace, and Jimmer is the next Steve Nash). Chad Ford said 3 weeks ago that there may not even be an allstar in this draft - and it's not like things have changed much in that time.

Oddly enough I think the two people with the highest ceilings who could blow up in the league are Kanter & Knight. I guess you could throw Biyombo in there as well.

Don't look at the combine agility numbers because Knight put up better numbers than all of those cats (besides Darren Collison). Knight is extremely fast and quick, he needs to improve his HANDLE to get better on ball speed, but he can definitely do that. Open floor he is as fast as anyone in the league.

Not to mention much fast, much more athletic, and much more clutch.

No I would bet Knight has elite speed like all of those guys.

Knight can't dunk like those guys, but that doesn't mean he can't finish at the rim. Isiah Thomas couldn't dunk either, but its all about putting the ball in the basket.

Agreed with Vslice02 and Dwill>pwnasaurasRex. I think if Knight turned out to be a bigger Mo Williams I would not be to sad. But Knight will be better then Williams!! Plus, I want Hayward to controll the ball a little more and do the pick and roll with Favors

Agreed and I really like Knights upside

If Knight can finish at the rim the way Westbrook or Rose can (or even if he has the potential to do that) - then I don't know how you can pass on him at #3 in this draft.

That's really my only concern with him - he isn't a very good leaper (yet).

AK had a few good years where he was a defensive demon and then as he aged his defense wasn't as good. Players sometimes regress and sometimes other players adjust to their style of play and that results in the defensive performance being not as good. I think Harris is a decent defender but I just think people overrate his ability.

New Jersey happened to him.

I also get the vibe that he is just one of those guys that seems to play super well against the Jazz and not so much everyone else. Even in some games against New Jersey he gave Deron problems, including on the defensive end.
