You saying reading my posts is a nightmare?
Just smile and nod.
Honestly, this sounds like me to some degree back in 2011. It pains me to say it but I was completely wrong about Jimmer's NBA prospects. I could go into a ton of details about why but most of you already realize the same thing.
I am officially against giving him a chance to play in Utah because he would be a huge distraction from what we now have going on with this young, defensive-minded team. He would be an awful fit in so many ways. I sincerely wish him the best of luck and hope that he works harder on his defensive game. Because without it, he'll be retired in less than two seasons.
I kind of feel bad for Jimmer. He was such a bright star in college, had a couldn't miss shot with crazy range, played with energy, did seemingly a bit of it all. Then just a total dud in the NBA. I would be ok with him for a 12-13th man kind of spot. But this is not unprecedented. There have been more than a few players that dominate in college and just can't hack it in the NBA.
