Tbh, I'm not sure why Messina would want to come here to just be an assistant at this stage in his career but if he's still available, we need to go strongly after this guy.

If I was Messina, I would be pissed that Blatt got a head coaching job and I am only being offered assistant jobs.

Would only make sense if he were hired as the Associate Head Coach for SA and promised the HC job when Pops steps down (and Pops has to agree to step down in the next 2-3 years). Messina in Utah makes ZERO sense career-wise.
