Easily Cotton... much quicker on his feet... always looking to pass, better athleticism, more reliable 3pt shot...

Trey has his clutch genes going for him though.

I knew Trey wasn't elite athletically coming out of college, but I honestly thought he would be a better passer at the next level and a more reliable 3pt shooter (his college numbers were solid in both).

Still think he could be a solid starter if he can do those 2 things well, but not showing much promise so far after 2 seasons...

If you saw the summer league game yesterday, sans the and-1 and buzzer beater, Cotton looked pretty bad. Smart punished him on like 3+ straight plays. Just overpowered him, he is way too small on the defensive end.

OK but did u remember how Trey fared in his first SL games? Worse than bad... IIRC.

Cotton is a 3rd string PG if he makes the team. Neto would be the backup in the scenario your describing.

As much as I dislike Trey, his chapter isn't closed until he's gone. He thrives under pressure.

Only if thrive = dribble away far too much of the shot clock then dribble into the teeth of the defense and chuck up some wild *** stupid shot while your team mates all look on, or throw up some off balance 3 pointer without trying to run a play. If that is what thrive means then I cannot agree with you more.
