Burks and Trades

So, I can't say I follow all of the dialogue here, but I've seen a decent amount of people say that they think Burks will get traded. What's the reasoning for this?

I can understand the thought process of trading him for a draft pick (during the draft), but why would we trade him now? I guess I just don't see the logic, and was hoping somebody could explain it to me. Thanks.

Cuz I mean, we're gonna trade Enes to Charlotte for MKG due to his not being a monk as a 20 year old millionaire, and then we'll have no room for Burks after that. So he has to go

I agree. I was bracing myself for a trade involving Burks if we had to in order to move up in the draft, but I don't expect a trade at this point. Our starting five is set forever and ever.

The only way we trade Burks now is for a legit SF so Hayward can stay at the 2. But I think we will sign a SF in free agency and keep Burks. Makes more sense. Let Burks be the spark off the bench and be the natural scoring guard he is. I think he might get lost in the shuffle with Burke, Hayward, Kanter, and Favors all needing shots. Better balance scoring attack to have him off the bench. Role playing 3 point shooting above average defender would be best at the 3 to help spread the floor and take pressure off Hayward so he can use his energy on offense and as a help defender.

Burks is Burks. I've always struggled to find a concise comparison, and that's either a good thing or a bad thing.

The only reason I compare him to Manu is the way they're both able to drive to the basket and consistently draw fouls.
