Yes, his offensive strategy is awesome. Shoot and miss a long two-point shot
 
Not a fan of Burks playing the point. But not a fan of any of our PG's that are playing at the moment

I have still been havin his back.
17 pts on 10 shots tonight
4 assists. 3 rebounds in 28 minutes.

Has played good defense all year.
Still want him to start and get big minutes with the rest of the core.

Someone posted that burks, kanter, favors, and hayward only played 20 total.minutes together in the 4 game road trip and they were a plus minus of negative 1 when playing together.

Considering how badly we were beat on the road trip, negative one is pretty amazing.

I think he should have been starting at the 1, but not playing PG in the offense in any functional sense.

He should have taken Burke's place in the defensive schemes (that Tyrone should have been determined above all else to implement), and then they should have made some sub-optimal changes to the offense wherein Burks got to play more of a functional two on that side. Instead, we have landed in no-man's land. The worst of all worlds: no offense + no defense.

This is straight-up a coaching problem, imo.
 
Heck yes let him play point guard, shooting guard and small forward. Play the heck out of him. Maybe just maybe we might find out what he can become before having to make a decision on him. He sure has not had a real shot up to now.
 
What does Ty think will happen if he starts Burks? That we will lose by 20-30 every night? Oh wait...
 
Corbin should start Burks and play him as much as possible. What's the point of having scoring from the bench when you are always 20 points down after the first quarter?

That doesn't address him playing specifically at the point. He took damn near the entire 8 seconds to advance the ball past mid court, and another 3-4 just to get within 6 feet of the three point line.

No need to defend that.

I was responding to your first post in which you ask why the burks supporters are so quiet...... you didn't ask what the burks supporters think of him at point guard
But if you did ask that question then I would answer that burks is a shooting guard...... but I also think he is a better point guard than tinsley and lucas since they are not even nba players
 
Here's a grand idea. Let's set our players up to succeed not fail. Burks at pg is a huge fail, and is teaching him bad habbits.

I think the best thought has been that Burks is not a point guard but he is still better at it than JL3 and Tinz. Just have Hayward handle the offense.

Huh? Did you not watch last night? 2G1C was art compared to that (not that there's anything wrong with that).
