Me and a few friends are hitting up New Mexico on a camping trip this summer and I just wanted to know if any Jazzfanz had any New Mexico experience and had any suggestions on the best spots to hit up.

What kind of experience you looking for? I know NM well, but only the extreme outback ... archaeology stuff.. so .. probably not asking me.

One of the worst experiences of my life was backpacking with a whiny woman for a week. Just me and her. Havasupai Falls, AZ area. I'm convinced if you do something like that with girls and you don't think once about throwing yourself off a cliff or down a canyon about mid-week into the trip just to escape the next few days, you should just ask her/one of them to marry you right there. Good luck to you if you have in any whiny girls in your camping group.

My buddie "NavaJoe" is heading back to Santa Fe tomorrow. I'd ask him but I'm guessing you are too broke to aproach the area.
FWIW, I've heard Carlsbad Caverns are deep and slick. Have fun and report accordingly.
