What's new

CJ Trey

CJ Miles has had a solid NBA career. Not sure why you insist on comparing them, it's a terrible comparison.

Isn't it amazing how Sloan developed so many of these rugged players? He gave Miles a very long leash and you know he was consulted on the contract renewal. Roger Braille, Mikki Moore, Calbert Cheney, Jarron Collins, that d-bag Shandon Anderson, he gave Ruffin an extra six year career, and he even made something out of nothing from Handlongten and Scott Padgett.

I would not call Sloans leash on CJ long but in comparison to other young players Sloan let him make mistakes and play a lot more than other players. Sloan definitely instilled hard work and fight in many players that pushed them to a higher tier. CJ just needed to find his role and he has done that lately as a role player that does not try to do too much and play within himself. Plus he has worked on his shot a lot which is the real important part of being a role player on the wing.
