Could Raja go to the Clippers?

With Billups out for the season, the Clippers could be looking for a veteran voice at the shooting guard position. With as many weapons as LAC has, Raja could be a good fit on offense, defense, and in the locker room. KOC should look at sending Raja to the Clips for maybe a 2nd rounder. Hayward could then start at 2 and Burks would get more minutes.

Keep dreaming... Unless we get 4 first round picks no way we trade our defensive stopper and veteran in the locker room. Wait, maybe for Griffin but I would need to check if that would work.

I think it's a great idea.

I know KOC says that no one is untouchable, but who do you think is in his top tier of players that he is looking to shop? Besides Harris....

I don't think the Jazz want to get rid of Bell. Bell is worth more than a 2nd rounder in my eyes. I think the Clippers would jump at that deal.

What about Eric Bledsoe? Bell and nj second for Bledsoe. Of randy foye he is expiring salaries are close too.

That would be interesting. I don't think the Clippers are that desperate for Bell though. Maybe Miles + Bell for Foye + Bledsoe? I think they have hopes that Bledsoe would bring in something better though.

I know they like Bledsoe but with Paul and Williams he is buried. I think they would think long and hard at that offer. They would probably want that nj second too. That has potential al though I would rather have cj for morrow.

If we got Bledsoe or Williams great, second round pick not really worth it. Bell is the only one lately hitting three's.

Are you kidding? I don't even need a 2nd round pick in 2035. Bell's 3's aren't helping the offense by the way. He's not creating space in the paint on any level. He's making the opportunistic 3's that come to him, but he's also not getting rebounds, assists, steals, or creating anything on offense.

The irony is Bell is actually a good fit on the Clippers. With an elite point, an elite 4, and a scoring 3, he could fit in nicely as a 2 that parks himself at the 3 point line and plays credible D (kind of like he did on the Suns when he was successful.) But on our team, without a great point, his inability to do anything other than shoot jumpers puts too much pressure on the frontcourt.

I agree that he should not be starting for our team but I guess I value him slightly higher than giving him away. I like his attitude on the court and how he sparks the team but I think that would be better coming off the bench with some young guys around him. But the coaching staff obviously values him much higher than either of us.

No chance Utah dumps Bell for a 2nd at this point.

We are stuck with him for this year, unless he somehow gets thrown in on a bigger trade.

Yeah Bell gives attitude and defense. I'm surprised that he kept George in check for the most part....George was a giant compared to him.

Nah, I'd rather trade Harris for a 2nd rounder. I figure he's worth at least that. The problem is that Tinsley would be awful at defense...so gotta keep Harris I guess. No way they'd give up Mo Williams for any old wing on our team..

They can have Bell for free as far as I'm concerned.

If they are dumb enough to give us a 2nd rounder it's time for dancing in the streets.

Bell does have value right now as a teaching vet to the young guns. But I'd rather see the guns on the court learning, than cheering on
the aging vet.

Trade Bell while his value is slightly up if there is something of value coming in return, and let's move forward.

Bell has improved his play from last year, and the beginning of this year. He still is not the answer, and has no business taking too
many minutes from Burks. I don't mind Bell as much when Burks gets some burn. Now that Bell has buried him on the bench my
hatred is starting to grow.

Trade Bell now while we still can.

i was gonna create a similar post when i found out about Billups injury...

Raja IS a perfect fit for this Clippers team now that Billups if out for the year, however I do think KOC values Raja's veteran presence w/ this young team.
The Clippers dont have a 1st this year & I wouldnt dump Raja just to dump but can this deal w/ TPEs work?
- Raja (3.24M) for EGordon's TPE (3.83M)
- Bledsoe (1.6M) for DWill's TPE (1.82M)
