Crazy trade?

Just a quick idea. Not sure I like it but here goes.
Trade Jefferson and the #3 for Bogut and Bucks #10.
Jazz now have Bogut and the #10 and #12.
This trade works on trade checker.
Jazz now have legit defensive center.
Can Jazz still get what they need with #10 and #12?

make it the 12th instead of the 3rd. I'd take it.

We don't need a center? The Utah jaPF? Umm....

I wonder if Atlanta reaally wants some cap space and trade smith for bell and the 3rd pick (kanter)

Jazz lose too much offense getting rid of Jefferson for Bogut. Bogut and Favors would be a fantastic defensive presence though. Hard to replace Jefferson 20 points per game.

Sap and the 3 for Bogut? Then use the 10 and 12 to trade up? Some variation of this trade may be worth looking into.

I'll bet you $1000 we wouldn't miss Jefferson.

It is intriguing to think about a trade that goes something like this:

EDIT:
UTAH trades: Jefferson + #12 + CJ + Tomic
UTAH receives: Bogut + #40

MIL trades: Bogut + #10 + #40
MIL receives: Jefferson + #5 + Tomic

TOR trades: #5
TOR receives: #10 + #12 + CJ

(could throw essentially the same offer to WASH).

Wow! Most trades on this board are heavily done in Utah's favor. This one is the eaxct oppsite. Utah is giving up 4 players for a oft-injured center and a second round pick? The Bucks and Raptors make out way better.

That's one way of saying it.
Another way of seeing it: the Jazz are getting a legit, borderline All-Star Center while finally giving up on CJ and someone (Tomic) that might never play in the NBA. Both of these guys can be lost with no regrets if they bring stability to the 5. And, there might be a player at 40... plus we don't have to give him guaranteed money.

Bogut isn't very good.
Bogut IS very good. He's probably the 2nd-best defensive big in the league and not a slouch on offense either. I'd love to have him, and I'm far less concerned with an elbow problem than I would a back or knee problem (which he's had back problems before, but I don't recall him having any this year).

This trade is not crazy. It's moranic.

This trade idea only got one half-cracked response. I'm curious what the rest of you think. Not realistic? Why? Not interested? Why? Thanks, dudes

I'm not sure that MIL has the confidence in Al to pull this off. But, if they got really stoked on Biyombo they may consider it; they're pretty thin in the front court and Big Al and Bismack could fix that.
