I hate mf'rs who do **** but are more than willing to jump in and steal credit for your work or somehow tie themselves to a project you are leading when the work is done. I am jr exec at casino which is truly one of the most cut throat industries in the world. I also work for one of the biggest banks in the world. It is brutal and am always fighting off leaches. Thanks for letting me rant I need another drink.

No problem. Just find the pet peeves thread next time. Also it's interesting to me that the casino/gambling industry would be so cutthroat. Why do you think that is?
 
Money my friend, well paid industry. And unfortunately a lot of under educated folk making 6 figures.

^^ don't pay attention to the richard wad who happens to know everything when a law quesion arises. This thread implies an underlying theme that suck3999 times missed.

I know the industry 'too' well .. but got out early.

You get no where unless you're willing to go all-in and going all-in is a mistake.

I would like to take credit for the creation of this thread. I'm sure I had a hand in it.... oh wait... if is sucks it was all Verlin.
 
What about pushy cashiers that try to make you sing up for store credit cards? Those are the credit whores I hate.

Verlin: sounds like enron culture, sorry bro.

Gameface: you won't believe the pressure cashiers are under, you are almost guaranteed to get fired if you don't meet daily quotas. I've never been threatened so much in my life, but i needed a job back then bro. :( its no wonder why the turnover rates in retail are so high.
 
Yeah, when you are a cashier, managers always make you upsell. I never did if a manager was out of hearing range, but you are pretty much forced to if they are.

My wife is basically the Michael Jordan of signing people up for store credit. She has worked at 4 different retail establishments and has always gotten about 50% of that store's credit apps. Her stores are almost always the regional leader in credit apps due to her numbers, usually 5-6 a day. The store quotas vary, but she's about 10x what they expect of their employees.

I saw your wife at her work a couple months back. I got rang up at the register next to hers though so no credit cards for me.
