Cunning Linguist put together a team full of brainiacs. I like that. He has a much better bench, IMO.

My team is flawless. They're winners, leaders, play great defense and are highly skilled. All my players can pass their *** off, rebound, shoot and almost all (other than Conley) can play multiple positions thus giving me much positional flexibility.

Hack has a nice team but let's be honest, in playoff basketball, his guys aren't remotely proven. Kyrie Irving is his ONLY player who has started on a team that's won a playoff series. In other words, his guys don't know how to win. That's huge in playoff basketball.

Hack has the best player and the Davis Favors combo would be a lot to handle but Cunning has a better overall team and a much better bench.

Although this match up will be interesting to see at the end of the season. Favors and Davis could be a lot better and Duncan could finally fall off. Lots of players could show improvement or regression in this match up. But right now Cunning has a solid team.

I knew CL was winning this thing before round one even began.

Great job assembling your team bro

At the same time, with Noah starting CL is basically playing 4 on 5 on offense, and who does he have that will take a game over? Plus, Duncan isn't playing the 4 anymore. It's a really nice team, but idk if they're good enough to win it all. Hayward is their go-to-guy...is he enough? Beal is a lot better than Martin, Irving and Conley are pretty even, Davis is better than Duncan and Favors is better than Noah. This one is pretty close, I'll need to think on it.

Noah was defensive player of the year the year before last and is only 30. There's been multiple articles in the last month about how fresh and great he feels. People are wildly forgetting how great this dude is. And Duncan played Center for what, one whole season? As far as go-to guys, I am (I thought obviously) employing a Spurs type system. Tons of penetration, pinpoint ball movement, shooting, defense. And a bench that will destroy any opponent's.

Duncan has played center for the last 5 or 6 years if I remember correctly. As for Noah, it's the offseason where everybody feels fresh, in the best shape of their lives. His last playoff series he couldn't even catch the ball, he'll have to prove he can still play, I think he's lost it. As for his age, age is less important than minutes, and thanks to Thibs he's had lots of minutes.

This is why these competitions are so tough and unpredictable.

The ones who lost and bitched about it need to remember that everyone has different opinions on different players and how good we think they will be.

Howard thinks next year version of noah is an old crappy dude who can't catch the ball.
I think of next years noah as a top ten (minimum) player at his position who gives you great defense, passing, and has a good attitude, is coachable, and works well with others.

Neither one of us are right or wrong since the future has not been shown to us yet. But these types of differences in opinions are what decide these matchups

Noah is one of the best passing centers though, so it's not entirely 4 on 5 on offense.

Lol @ the people who think he has a better bench.

There will be no easier task on this planet than to sell my team is better after the season is over.

My team is so much better than his

So much better that Irving is the only guy ever to win a playoff series as a starter.

Starting Martin is a huge mistake. He will get eaten alive and cannot defend a corpse. Beal and Hayward will have a hayday against Martin and Parsons. Hayward will shine in this matchup and Duncan and Noah will pick up easy buckets while Hayward rakes in assist after assist. CL easy.

I would have almost considered starting Johnson over Hayward in this. Hayward with this bench will get you triple doubles especially considering Hack gots no one on the bench to even slow Hayward.

Vote at your own peril. This will be bumped in the offseason and re-voted on. You will look dumb for voting for his team.
