Dallas will NOT draft...

Shabazz.

They can't afford to.

They will draft the Euro Karasev.

They can have Karasev.

'Stache him overseas for salary cap purposes.

Try to sign Dwight.

Cleveland wants him too.

They're trying to trade #19, 31, 33 to take him at 13.

We draft McCollum or Shabazz.

Or Kentavious.

Or Cody.

Someone will fall.

Who do you pick?

Because OKC will mess you up.

Why does anyone think OKC won't take Shabazz? Why did they lose last year? Because they traded Harden and Westbrook got hurt. Who in this draft gives Westbrook a chance to make a full recovery before coming back? Who makes Martin expendable? You let Martin go, draft Shabazz, and now you aren't any worse and you are under the salary cap.

Anyone know what Jeremy Lamb is up to? It's funny that OKC snagged Lamb and PJIII, and both seem to be MIA

Not a bad point generally, but they wouldn't be anywhere close to being under the cap.

Because if OKC is smart they'll be snagging another playmaker/big, not a scorer (they already have like 4 of those). McCollum could play the role of Kevin Martin, but under a rookie contract, and play better D.

In order of those listed;

'Bazz
McCollum
Zeller

KCP

... many will disagree.

I got them trading with the Knicks. It's a win win for both of them; Knicks get old man Marion, the 13th pick and draft MCW. Mavericks get the 24th pick and draft Nogueira, draft and stache, save some cash.

Would Dallas trade the #13 for our first round pick in 2015? Straight up, first rounder for first rounder?

I would ONLY consider this if Shabazz AND Shroeder/whoever the Jazz like the best at #14 are available.

Yes!

I love it.

Ur smrt.

Teams on the verge get caught up in going over the top.

As they should.

OKC could draft Bazz and swap.

That's fine.

We'll give them #14 n 46.

We should anyway.

Bazz Unlimited!

He is ours.

Why does everyone think that OKC needs to find a replacement for Harden?

With or without Harden they aren't a championship team.

What they need is a big who can score down low. Perkins is worthless and Ibaka has no post game. Collison is... Very limited.

With Harden? Still not a championship team.
Without Harden but WITH a low post scorer? They are.

Having said that, I hope that OKC does draft another guard who will fight for the ball with Westbrook and Durant. That's fine. We'll then take up the big that they passed up on. The Jazz getting bigger and stronger all but guarantees them the best front line in the NBA for years to come.

I don't buy this at all. They made the NBA finals without a big that can score. The did it with Harden and Westbrook. Why do they need to completely change their attitude, when it worked? If not for an injury, they probably go back to the NBA finals without Harden.

Exactly what I said.

Being back into the Finals isn't the same as winning it. And isn't that the whole point?

With or without Harden, they aren't a championship team. They need a low post presence.

Completely disagree. Who in the East has a dominating low post presence? To win a title, you have to beat Miami. Miami has no one down low. If you can win the West without a big man, you can win it all without a big man.

Now, if there is a big man that can score like Shabazz can score at their pick, take him. If there isn't, then Shabazz is the obvious answer. If they don't take Shabazz, they are trying to get too cute.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

No, you can't beat the Heat without a big. In fact, just to have a fighting chance you need a big. And even then, no one has been able to beat them (other than Dallas. Who had 2 bigs. 1 of which is a HOF player).

And OKC has proven it.

If you're going to beat the Heat you need a sledgehammer down low. You aren't going to outLebron Lebron, even with Durant. Pretty sure OKC has already proven this already. Or do they need their asses handed to them again in the Finals? Btw, they were killed even with harden.

OKC needs a low post big. They don't need anymore guards. They have plenty of those already. They need bigs because Perkins is worthless and Ibaka doesn't have a low post game.

Feel free to disagree but the results from the past 3 years back up my view. Sorry. Probably because I allow the results to dictate my views. Not views dictate the results.

Unmm Indiana? They could have disposed of Miami if they could muster a single consistent bench contribution. Last I heard, I think they had a low-post presence who was whooping Miami's *** all series long
