He is a 6'2" 214 lb combo guard. His size and standing reach 8'2" are virtually identical to Deron Williams and Eric Bledsoe. And he should be available around our 47th pick. He is a career 40% 3pt shooter. We need shooters and here is a guy that should be available. Marquette has recent history of producing very good NBA players.

Johnson-Odom has always been a good catch and shoot player, a skill that will be very valuable at the next level when he is asked to create less. While he doesn't get all that much elevation on his jump shot, his good balance and follow through creates a very repeatable motion which allows him consistent results.

He's also shown an increased ability to make jump shots off of screens, something that can be utilized as he moves to more of an off the ball role at the next level.

I think we need to bring him for a workout and seriously consider him. If he can handle the ball well enough to be our 3rd point guard his shooting be a serious assest.

nbadraft.net predicts Utah to take William Buford from Ohio State who averaged 39% from 3, is 6'5" and athletic.

I laughed even though I think English will be playing in the NBA for a decent number of years. Good shooter, strong IQ, team player.

I realize that English is not a great overall player. But, if we are looking for someone just by shooting standards English will be there for us to pick. I really don't want English or DJO.

Does Orlando Johnson make you feel better? haha Orlando Johnson is a pretty solid pick at 47 imo and is a better shooter than DJO.
 
I see him as Dahntay Jones II. Worth a look, but I wouldn't say he's a "shooter", and he's for damn sure not a PG.
 
The only player that I want, who is mocked available at 47 is Furkan Aldemir from Turkey.

Jazz like big Turks.

I like his nick-name potential. Furkan could replace freakin' as the offical Utah cuss word substitute.

I have had it with these mother Furkan snakes on this mother Furkan plane.
 
Odom-Johnson also tested out as an elite athlete. It might be enough to allow him to play the two guard as a role player.
