Don't have time to transcribe quotes. The parts about Neto and Tomic (second half of interview) are more detailed than we've heard in the past. Specifically Tomic. They are really interested n both. Quin knows Tomic well and likes him. Everyone is high on Tomic. Jazz want him, and so do other teams. Lots of options with him at this junction. DL also likes Raul and thinks his "pace and imaginative play" would be good for this team. More discussion about bringing Neto over will be done soon. Etc.

-Mentioned "trading up, trading down, or trading out" multiple times
-Talked about being true to the "Value Board" (big board)
-Talked about also having a "Market Board" (a board that charts who/what other teams value)

Maybe I'm just hearing the things I want to hear, because he's really careful to not reveal his hand too much. But given last year, I don't know, I think we might just see some ****.

Thanks for the link.

He again talked about really having to justify bringing in more young players with the #23 and #35. But he also said he was hesitant to push those picks out (i.e. swap for a future 1st) due to the strength of this year's draft. Also spoke about the "61st" pick. Believes there are several players who might be worth giving guaranteed money to that won't be drafted. Also said you don't acquire assets just to keep drafting every year. My take on this is that Tomic, the #23 and #35 are in play for whoever wants to give Utah a good deal.

My impression as well.

He's said it many times now, jazz are not building draft picks they are assembling a team and three young players may not be what this team needs.

I also enjoyed him talking about how they are not taking 23 or 35 lightly because they have several critical decisions and they need to hit on everyone of them. If he walks the walk he talks the jazz are in great hands.

Tomic is a goner.

I enjoyed the more professional questions from Kall 700, I think Lindsey did too. His answers were much more insightful and genuine. Step it up Zone.

I am glad you have a lot of hope but when I put on my potential glasses I see think

Burke=DJ Augustin
Burks=Eddie Jones
Hayward=hmm nobody comes to mind
Favors=Antonio Davis
Kanter=Slightly More Athletic Pekovic

I hope I am wrong about Burke.

I'd really like to see Neto come over. I like the pace he plays the game.

You have to use the BB forum rule #1 to compare players. Ethnicity is first priority. Hayward is a more athletic but shorter version of Tom Chambers.
