SALT LAKE CITY — The injury woes continue for former Utah Jazz All-Star Gordon Hayward.
The Boston Celtics announced Tuesday that Hayward will miss approximately four weeks after suffering a grade III sprain of his right ankle late Monday in the Celtics’ 109-101 win over Philadelphia in Game 1 of their playoff series in Orlando.
The injury occurred when he landed awkwardly after battling for a rebound.
In his third season with Boston after leaving the Jazz, Hayward has missed 21 games so far this season. He, of course, missed all but a few minutes of his first season with the Celtics after suffering a horrific injury.
