You can get a free Chick-fil-A sandwich today, Oct. 24, for what happened at the Utah Jazz game last night

The Utah Jazz changed their promotion with Chick-fil-A for this season, giving residents of the Beehive State a chance to earn free chicken sandwiches even when they don’t attend the game.

The plan: Chick-fil-A’s new “Fowl Play” promotion will allow customers who use the Chick-fil-A app in Utah to receive a free chicken sandwich instead of just those who attend the game. The promotion gives fans free food when opponents miss consecutive free throws.

In the past: Only those who attended Utah Jazz games could receive the free chicken sandwich.

How to earn your reward: It’s simple. If you have the Chick-fil-A app already installed on your computer, just jump into the rewards section and you should see the promotion.

If you don’t have the app, download it and log in to your Chick-fil-A rewards account (you can use Facebook or Google to log in as well). You’ll see a banner that says you may have rewards in your area. Click that banner and a prompt will ask whether or not you want to turn location services on. Turn them on and you’ll find the reward waiting for you there.

Oct. 24: Beehive State residents can receive a free Chick-fil-A sandwich on Thursday, Oct. 24, since Oklahoma City Thunder center Steven Adams missed two free throws during the Oct. 23 game at the Vivint Arena.
