What's new

desperate for something bleacher report article

I want to know how the article's author is calculating things. My rough estimates don't seem to show that the Clips are in any kind of need from signing Paul to immediately just be giving stuff away for low draft picks.

DeAndre Jordan would never start over Kanter.

I feel like the Clippers can get Value for Jordan...

But I wouldn't be surprised if the said deal goes down except its Butler we are taking back instead of Jordan!!!

If the Jazz are taking on contracts then there should be future picks coming our way. Jordan is way overpaid and was owned in the playoffs against Memphis. He is a terrible FT shooter and there is no way he beats out Kanter. As talented as Bledsoe is, there are still questions he can run a half-court offense. I also believe when he started the Clippers winning percentage was below .500. At least that is how I am remembering it.

The Jazz have a lot of leverage due to all their expiring contracts. Hopefully they will be able to get some future picks if they are willing to help out another franchise financially.

The clippers were also In the middle of the Grammy's Road trip and Blake miss a handful of games during that stretch as well!!

I am curious if the Clippers will make a run at Phil Jackson. Will Jackson go to the LA rival? If he wants to return to coaching, have Popovich-like control over the roster, and be in a city that he likes then the Clippers are the spot. If the Clippers make the move for Jackson, Paul will definitely re-sign and I could see old Lakers like Barnes, Odom, and Butler who know the triangle staying.
