I like Lyles, but I've been saying all along that we should have taken Booker. I'll gladly eat crow if I turn out to be wrong, but damn I wish we could re-do that pick.

Lyles is probably going to be okay, but I'm afraid jazz fans won this round vs DL. Booker looked like a Klay clone at UK and that hasn't really changed much in the NBA. He looks special shooting the ball and when he has games like he did a couple days ago where he went for 15, 7 and 10, I just have to smh.

I was livid over the pick, and the only reason I'm not still completely sick over it is because Lyles has shown some promise as a shooter, which I was very skeptical of. Honestly, I'm still pretty sick over it, but I'm trying to believe it will turn out ok. If Lyles can become a good defender, I think it could still end up being a toss up, but as of now I see it as a pretty bad decision.
I like Lyles but my god in a league with higher emphasis on the 3 ball Booker might've been the one that got away. Not just because of the three point contest but imagine Hayward - Booker - Hood - Favors - Gobert
