I see Santa Cruz is in the DLeague finals with our pal Travis Leslie. They have another guy Jeremy Tyler on the team that is 6'10" and 260 pounds. Both Tyler and Leslie were 2nd round picks in 2011.

I see the opponent the legendary Rio Grande Valley Vipers have Glen Rice's kid as one of their stars a 6'6" 2 guard via Georgia Tech.

first off the kid is only 21 and big men develop slower. it is too early to say people are wrong. although I don't like his work ethic. if matures and starts to work harder he has the tools to be a decent center in the nba.

Probably more like China. CJ Miles, Morris Almond, Kaniel Dickens all dominated in the DLeague. Does that say anything?

The money is horrible unless they are on an NBA rookie contract. Normally it's $20-25,000 and sometimes the team will provide housing during the season in town. The players are keeping the dream alive.

Glen Rice had 33 points last night in game 1 with 10 boards. Leslie had 19 points in his team's loss. There was a two guard from Wichita State for Rio Grande Valley that had a triple double.
