What's new

Dunleavy gone......

Such an odd signing...

Jackson, Delfino, Ilyasova, now Dunleavy. I guess they think at least two of those guys can handle the SG position, but they're pretty much all SFs.

Korver hasn't had a long injury history and is a much better shooter than Dunleavy.

Dunleavy is a better team defender, can create his own shot on occasion, rebounds better, and can draw fouls.

Korver is a better shooter but Dunleavy actually had a better True Shooting % last year.

But I'm not trying to debate who is better, just putting in perspective how much better the contract is.

I would be shocked if that happened. I thought he is to Skiles as Harpring was to Sloan.
So where does he play? He's not under contract (Bucks still could possess rights) and there appear to be four other SFs already under contract right now.

He would definitely fill a need at rebounding here and could guard Durant.
Mbah a Moute might be the best perimeter defender in the NBA. One on one and team. He can't do much else besides that and board, but that is something special.

I would go Tony Allen as best perimeter defender one on one and team but Mbah a Moute sure has the size advantage.

Being a Bucks fan must be miserable. They have a good season about twice a decade, and their organization seems to have no plan in place on what the hell they are trying to do.

In their confusion, let's trade Al for Bogut. I'm not terribly concerned with an arm injury (relative to knee or back [which he's also had issues with]) and his offense isn't great, but you would have a very tough time finding another player at any position - let alone the most important defensive position on the floor - that makes such a huge impact defensively. How many players are there that are regularly league leaders in charges taken and blocked shots simultaneously?

That's rhetorical.
