Here's a feel-good story involving Earl Watson. He spent part of the 2005-06 season in Denver. He met a young cancer patient during a school appearance. They bonded, and Earl stayed in touch with the girl and the family after he got traded to Seattle. The girl passed away nearly six years ago.

He trades e-mails with Wyatt (the girl's brother) and visits with the family before and after each trip to Denver.

EDIT: This was first posted in one of the Jazz Survivor threads by Ben10 yesterday. Just sayin'

I posted this in another tread. But it never got looked at. Even though Earl might not be the best player on the team thinks like this make me glad he is a Jazzman

Was that recently? Sorry if I'm guilty of ignoring it.

It is nice to see athletes doing charitable things and making peoples lives better because they want too and enjoy it. A lot of them just do it out of obligation, tax breaks or join in a cause because one of their own family has the disease.

I will say the "feel good" term is kind of relative in this case since the girl has passed away. But I guess "feel good" refers to him doing something good for a family that needs support.
